Journal Entry #4-
Second week Dunbar students come (Date: October 13th and
15th)
After a week of being in charge and in
control of the classroom, I was eager to experience what it was like for my
peers when I was in charge to just sit back and follow instructions. Victoria
and Ty and did a wonderful job with their lesson plan and I enjoyed being a
part of it. When Victoria told us that she and Ty wanted us to use the
calculators and probes, I was very interested to see what they had in store for
us. When I first read over the lesson plan, I was impressed with the activities
that Ty and Victoria had planned for us as well,
Once the students arrived, I knew this
weeks’ lesson was going to be fun one. I was partnered with Sam Griffith and
Tyler Davis on Tuesday, then Tyler on Thursday. We were all on the same page,
and it was a very interesting experience. The students were excited to go
outside again, and I’m glad that we were blessed with such beautiful weather on
both days. As each week progresses, I begin to enjoy this class, and this
program, even more.
